Founder Darren Weiss spent his career building and running complex organizations. He began as an implementer of performance-management systems, then helped scale a regional company into a major participant in a highly regulated national industry while leading operations, growth, M&A, legal, and regulatory work.

That experience shapes the 013 Labs method: understand the business first, decide whether to build, buy, simplify, or stop, then implement the smallest system that can be tested against real work. Systematic-trading infrastructure, a data platform for a regulated industry, and AI-assisted operating workflows provide cross-domain evidence of that method.
